The Nineteenth Amendment was fought for since the birth of our country. Join the Coshocton Public Library as we explore some of the men who fought just as hard and bravely as the women. Learn about the Men's League for Women's Suffrage and how they endured assaults to support women. Famous men such as Frederick Douglas and Woodrow Wilson and their battles to do what was right. Also hear about lesser known heavy hitters of their time such as Congressman Thetus Sims who showed up to vote with a broken arm and shoulder which weren't even set yet, and how he stayed the entire time to convince other Congressmen to vote for it as well.
